So what do you all think about the new youth hunting laws this season for Colorado?

I've only studied the ones pertaining to me. It's looking like my son is going on an archery hunt next year (2016) with me and if we don't get it done we may head back for a late season cow with the same tag. He's going to be stoked when he opens his birthday present and finds his archery tag.

We are going to try 54. Archery hunted there a few times then switched over to late rifle when my son started pee wee football.

If 54 doesn't work we'll go OTC.

One of the things I don't like about the new laws is that OTC tags CAN'T be turned in or used for the extended seasons for youth. In order for youths to continue to hunt they must first have a limited quota tag that they obtained through the draw or left over process.
